Dave’s career focused on public policy and economic development — both domestic and international — including positions in the Governor’s Office and the Office of the Mayor as a Hickenlooper appointee; a 17-year tenure with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce; and service on the staff of the Colorado Legislative Council, the nonpartisan research staff of the General Assembly.
Dave is a Colorado native, having grown up in Pueblo and is a “cradle Episcopalian.”
Dave has an undergraduate degree in International Business and a graduate degree from the Graduate School of Public Affairs at CU.
Dave and his wife Marlys celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. They have been members of Christ Church for 45 years, and have two children, Jeffrey and Meredith, and two grandsons, Charles and Matthew.
